The Geo People was at the heart of much industry activity whilst attending the PESGB President’s Evening at the Museum of London, in December. The President focussed on key themes and allowed colleagues from various industry disciplines an opportunity to meet and informally discuss present issues within oil & gas.

The Geo People was delighted to attend PROSPEX 2015, London 9-10 December 2015, a two-day exhibition with a parallel speaker programme featuring the highly popular ‘Prospects to Go’ sessions. The exhibition provides a venue for announced 'Promote Licensees' and oil and gas companies to market prospects and meet with potential investors.

The Geo People’s Andrea Collins recently attended a three-day passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) course in Devon, UK, greatly improving the TGP selection process for PAM personnel for hydrocarbon and renewable energy projects.

As part of The Geo People’s offering to the renewables industry, company Director, Andrea Collins has been asked to advise ORE Catapult, the government funded UK’s flagship technology innovation and research centre for offshore wind, wave and tidal energy.

The Geo People is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Marine Mammal Observer Association (MMOA), a body that represents and supports professional marine mammal observers (MMO) and passive acoustic monitoring (PAM).

The Geo People was pleased to attend the Seiche JNCC MMO course at Plymouth Aquarium in June to acquire first-hand knowledge of how its Marine Mammal Observers are trained. The Geo People provides MMOs for marine seismic, VSP, rig decommissioning, and site surveys.

The Geo People visits the All-Energy 2015, the UK’s largest renewable energy exhibition and conference, at SECC Glasgow, 6-7 May 2015. The event hosted 450 exhibitors as well as visitors from over 50 countries, and is the focal point of the industry’s calendar.
